Quite a few now…
The main all-electric cars currently on sale are the Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, Hyundai Ioniq, Renault Zoe and, in a few months time, the Tesla Model S and Model X.
There are also several plugin-hybrids on the market, which can travel for usually around 50km on one charge before the normal petrol engine takes over. Those include the Audi A3 e-tron and Q7 e-tron, the Volkswagen Golf and Passat GTE, the BMW X5 xDrive40e and i8, the Volvo XC90 T8, the Mercedes C 350 e and the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
