That all sounds pretty good, and the service history is a reassurance, but if you’re going to spend €22k with a private seller, I’d advise getting a few checks done first. Obviously, make sure you get a history and finance check done on it with Cartell.ie, and then it could well be worth getting an independent mechanical inspection done by the AA – that’ll flag up anything that needs attention and should, again, give you a bit of peace of mind. High miles isn’t a huge issue for cars like this, and with 120k on the clock at least you can be confident no-one’s turned the mileage back. If it’s a good one, just stick to the servicing schedule, keep it looked after either by an Audi dealer or an independent Audi specialist and it should, as you say, do you for a long time yet.
