A really lovely car, arguably nicer all round than the F10 model that succeeded it. Touring offers the best value as it's genuinely practical.

 

Be careful though. The 2.0-litre diesel has a habit of developing turbo and timing chain issues and the electrics can often be fragile too. They're also a really popular car and have frequently fallen into the hands of those who love the image and handling but either can't afford or can't be bothered to keep up the maintenance.
