It's a better car than its reputation would suggest actually. On the upside, it's pretty good looking, decent to drive and has lovely seats and interior. The 1.6 HDi engine should be frugal and reasonably reliable too. On the downside the optional automatic is awful, there are question marks over long term reliability and residual value and the rear seats, especially with the odd door openings and the lack of winding windows, are compromised. If you're getting it for a knock down price, I'd say it's worth a punt as a more interesting than usual hatchback.
