Lots and lots and there's probably not the space to go into it all here, so here's the short version - history check: vital; budget carefully and allow for currency conversions and travel costs; once you've found and bought your car you have seven days from when it arrives in Ireland to notify Revenue that it's here and 30 days to have it inspected and assessed for Vehicle Registration Tax.
