What diesel auto SUV to go for?
Hi,
Could you recommend diesel automatic SUVs that are 2013 or less (for price) that is less than the typical €750 tax associated with 4x4? I don't need 4x4 and am not looking for a large car. I have tried the Mokka but the engine in the automatic is very underpowered. I have also tried the Skoda Yeti, but am not a fan. Any other suggestions?

How about a Mazda CX-5? A really cracking car, well-made and reliable and with an excellent 2.2-litre diesel engine. Go for a front-drive automatic version and you’ll pay €280 a year in road tax and we’ve found one for sale, from 2013, for €25,950.
