What dependable car for up to €6,000?
Need help deciding on what make car to purchase. Cittently drive a merc clk but can no longer afford insurance tax etc. Looking for a car that will bring my insurance down and also a no frills and affordable, dependable car. Im looking at spending between 4-6000.

You should be looking at Skoda, Hyundai and Kia. These three make some excellent cars currently and have been on upwards curves for more than a decade now, so on the used market there are plenty of decent Fabias and Octavias (Skoda), i10s/i20s/i30s/Sonatas (Hyundai) and Picantos and Ceeds (Kia) that should suit your needs, and budget.
