What cars are best for towing horse boxes?
Hi, could you advise me on cars/SUVs suitable for towing a horse box please?

It’s all down to weight. As long as your horse box doesn’t exceed around 2,200- to 2,500kg in weight (and that’s with the horse in it) then you can take your pick from a plethora of models – Honda CR-V, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento, Jeep Cherokee, Toyota RAV4, Mitsubishi Outlander and many more.
If it’s a heftier trailer, say up to 3,500kg including the horse, then you need to think bigger – Discovery, Land Cruiser, Range Rover, Pajero etc. Incidentally, both of those weights are for braked trailers. If it’s an unbraked trailer, then the maximum weights are significantly lower.
