A seven-seater is definitely a good idea, so check out Volkswagen Tourans, Toyota Versos, the Kia Carens and Citroen C4 Picassos. The Opel Zafira Tourer is also well worth a look. If you need something bigger than that, a Ford S-Max or SEAT Alhambra are your best bets. SUV-style seven-seaters are nice (see the Hyundai Santa Fe or Kia Sorento, or the more recent Land Rover Discovery Sport or Nissan X-Trail), but they tend to have very little useable space in the third row of seats, unless you go for one of the big, expensive ones such as the Land Rover Discovery or Volvo XC90.
