How long is a piece of string? It all depends on your own personal circumstances and how much you want to spend. That said, by and large, you'll get better deals from car companies that have their own internal finance houses (Volkswagen Bank, Renault Bank, BMW Finance etc.) than those that rely on high street banks to provide their finance.
