We have €50k to spend on new family car.
Hi, We are changing our family car this year. We need a car that will fit 3 isofix seats in the back and a decent boot. I'm not a big fan of mpv but like the idea of a suv for a higher driving position and the idea of all wheel drive for our winter months. I have no idea what to buy. My dream car is the new volvo xc90 but I don't have the money. My budget is around €50K but the less spent the better! I would really appreciate your help. Thanks, Elaine

Easy solution - €50k budget will get you into a last-generation Volvo XC90, probably one that's only a year or so old and it's still a terrific car - reliable, roomy and smooth. Just make sure that if it's an AWD model the clutch that connects the system together hasn't burned out.
Or you could try a current-shape Kia Sorento. €50k gets you a well-equipped model plus plenty of change left over. It's one of our favourite SUVs at the moment - comfy, spacious and really relaxing to drive.
