Theoretically, yes, as both cars should be worth around €3,500-€4,000 – but we think you’ll find it hard to locate a dealer who would just let you hand in the Toyota and drive off in the Ford, without any money changing hands; and private buyers who would do the same are far thinner on the ground – they’re going to want to be looking to downsize, after all, as the Yaris is a smaller car than a Focus, and also to be happy taking a car that’s no newer than their Ford. Good luck with the search, but in summary, it's almost unheard of for anyone to do a straight swap.
