VW warranty ok on imports?
I am thinking of buying a car in Northern Ireland.The car in question is a VW Golf Petrol 2016.My question is warranty related..If something goes wrong will VW in the Republic honour the warranty.?I understand these VW Golfs were sold with a 3 year warranty..I am not sure what warranties Northern Ireland VW dealers do?Any info will be greatly appreciated

In theory, the Volkswagen warranty is Europe-wide, so the Northern Irish (UK) warranty should hold here in the Republic. Check with the dealer when buying the car, as they should be able to advise you further.
