Assuming you'd like to know the VRT cost on importing a Juke from the UK, there are two factors that are required. First up we need to estimate the Open Market Selling Price (OMSP). This is the value Revenue believes the car would sell for in Ireland, including all taxes etc. A quick look in the Carzone listings shows that 2020 Jukes vary from about €19,000 to €25,000, so the exact figure will depend on the specific model, engine, mileage, etc. 

The second figure we need is the CO2 rating, as that determines the rate of VRT payable. Most examples of the 2020 Juke (all powered by the 1.0-litre petrol engine) should fall within VRT band 9 (111-115g/km), at 15.25 per cent. 

By way of example, then, if the OMSP is deemed to be, for example, €22,000, the VRT payable would be €3,355. Obviously, if the CO2 of the actual car you're looking at puts it into a different band, the VRT rate will change as well.
