Hi any idea how much vrt would be on a 2016 Porsche Cayenne diesel with 15000 miles as revenue site does not list them thank you
Hi Dominic,
You have to work out the rough Irish market value for that, not what you’ll pay for it from the UK. A 2016, 3.0-litre V6 Cayenne Diesel with such low mileage should be worth about €75,000, the V8 S Diesel a little more (but not too much, because its higher CO2 makes it less desirable here in Ireland). As the V6 emits 173g/km and therefore sits in Band E for road tax, the VRT will be 30 per cent of the price – that means €22,500. The V8 S model is even worse, because – with 209g/km CO2, or Band F – you’re talking about 34 per cent of the price, so maybe more like €27,000 of VRT.
