Hi guys Do you by any chance know what the VRT on a 2010 PEUGEOT 3008 1.6 HDI SPORT 110BHP 5DR would be please.
Hi Anne-Marie,
Before we answer this, you should be aware that we can only help you make an estimate. It's not an exact science as the VRT figure Revenue comes up with is based on what it calls the Open Market Selling Price (OMSP) of the car. That's not what you paid for it, but what Revenue believes the car to be worth in Ireland. It can be influenced by condition and extras fitted so isn't confirmed until a car is presented for inspection.
With that in mind, we'd esimate an OMSP of about €4,500.
This car's CO2 rating should put it into Band 14 for VRT, at 20 per cent, meaning VRT based on an OMSP of €4,500, would be €900.
Don't forget to calculate the NOx levy as well, as that can be very high for older diesels such as this.

Ask us anything motoring related and please provide as much information as possible so we can give you the most accurate advice.
