What is the VRT on a 2007 jaguar s 2.7 diesel
Hi Brian,
It's tricky to estimate this for cars that are relatively rare, as it all comes down to the price that Revenue says it thinks the car is worth. Let's say it's €5,000 for the purposes of our calculation. With uplifted CO2 emissions, it will attract 37 per cent VRT, which means €1,850. You will also be liable for a NOx levy, which is likely to be substantial for that car, probably more than the VRT. And, if it's being imported from England, Scotland or Wales, you may have to pay for VAT and customs duty as well.
