VRT for 2013 Porsche Cayenne?

VRT for 2013 Porsche Cayenne?

Hi have question , do you know how is vrt for Porsche cayenne 3.0 diesel v6 2013 year

Our answer:

Hi Michael,

All we can do is estimate such a thing, but the calculation depends on what Revenue says the Open Market Selling Price (OMSP) is, and that's not easy to estimate, especially for a relatively rare car such as that. It has no relation to what you've actually paid for the car.

Let's take an OMSP of €35,000 for example. Our data is that car had a CO2 rating of 195g/km, but Revenue will 'uplift' that to the newer (WLTP) standard using a calculation it has devised, which brings it to 235g/km. Not that it makes any difference, as any cars with emission of over 191g/km attract 37 per cent VRT.

That works out as €9,250.

Don't forget that the NOx levy will also be due and, if you're importing from England, Scotland or Wales, you'll have to pay VAT and import duty as well.
