Value of my 1990 Corolla?

Value of my 1990 Corolla?

I have a 1990 Toyota Corolla 2.0L diesel saloon I imported from Japan in 1993 when I was working there. It has just over 620,000km on the clock and passes the NCT each year. I use it every day. Everything on it is working, except the digital clock, which stopped a long time ago. It has several hairline scratches on the roof from a faulty carwash, and a small dent in the bonnet when a child sat on it, else good condition. Is it worth anything (apart from sentimental value!)

Our answer:

Hi Patrick,

Not sure if that’s a late E80 (Mk5) or an early E90 (Mk6), but either way, we suspect it’s in that middle ground between becoming a classic Corolla (old 1970s examples can fetch up to €10,000 in decent nick) and still just being a very old runabout. The mileage is also deeply impressive, but isn’t going to help values – so reckon on it being worth about €500, tops; trade-in, you’re not really going to be offered anything.

Note that the Carzone App (both Apple and Android) features a Valuation Tool.
