I think you could probably press for a slightly better deal - the €6k for your Corolla is a little low and there are definitely 132-reg Auris around for less than €16,900. A bit of haggling or shopping around might be a good idea. 

In terms of reliability there should be no difference - Toyota's reputation for reliability and quality is almost unmatched and both cars are renowned for their solidity. In fuel economy terms I'd expect the Auris to be a little more economical, probably by about 5-10mpg on average.
