It's very difficult to estimate a trade-in value, as it depends massively on how much any given dealer is willing to pay for a car to get a deal over the line. That will vary from dealer to dealer on any given day. 

We'd estimate that a Golf such as yours, depending on specification and condition, would be sold for somewhere between €10,500 and €13,000, so as a trade-in, I'd expect offers in the region of €8,000.
