Too late to negotiate?
It is too late to negotiate with a dealer for second-hand car after having paid the deposit and agreed on the selling price?

Hi Asmo,
Generally speaking, yes it’s too late. A verbal contract is still a contract and all that. You are within your rights to not go ahead with the deal, of course, but it will be down to the dealer’s goodwill as to whether your get your deposit back or not.
