It would really help if you also told us the engine size and type, as there are lots of different ones. Also, to confuse things, the Mondeo model change was in 2007, so we need to know if it's the pre-2007 shape or post-2007. I'm going to guess the post-2007 one as nearly all engines in the older car had timing chains, not belts. And as it's pre-2008, I'm guessing it's the 1.6-litre petrol engine. If so, then the change interval is 160,000km or every eight years. If my assumptions are wrong, please do come back to us with the full details.
