Thoughts on timing for my Skoda Fabia?
I’ve got a Skoda fabia 1.4 8v mpi I’m just wondering it’s done 84000 miles just wondering if it’s a cam belt or timing chain and when will it need a new one

Hi Shane,
You've not told us the year. By way of example, the 2007-2010 model has a timing belt. It is recommended that it is checked for wear at 90,000km and then every 30,000km after that (by a mechanic) to decide when it should be changed.
