Hi, I’m looking at purchasing a Oct 2012 Ford Galaxy Titanium with a 82000 Miles on the clock, with full service history, dealer is looking for €15750 for it, he is allowing €9350 for my 2011 Peugeot 3008 1.6 hdi with 94000km full service history, and wants €6400 cash from me. Is the price for the both cars about right or? And I think I’ve noticed that the Galaxy has had a bit of body work done on it I’d say a few years back, but done to a high standard, I don’t think the dealer knows about as it was traded in recently, and I know the dealers very well. Should I expect some money off from the price if I mention the body repairs? Thanks
Hi Scott,
Yes, that’s about the right price for both cars (in fact, a touch generous for the Peugeot I would think), but yes, equally, you should be able to argue a few quid off for the body repairs. Not too much, though, as that’s quite a low value for a 2012 Galaxy.
