Thoughts on this Focus?
Dear Sir/madam I am considering buying a Ford focus 1.8 diesel 2009 with 211131 miles on the odometer, they are asking 1500 euro they are willing to negotiate, your valuation is €1400 euro , I am iffy about the very high mileage ? What in your opinion could I offer ? Kind regards Maria

That is very high mileage for sure, but the price reflects that already and I doubt the seller will go much lower. Check the service history. If it is complete and detailed then that's a good sign, but you can't expect a car for that price with that mileage already on it to not require maintenance going forward. If you're unhappy with the mileage, just look elsewhere. Getting €100 off the price is about all you could hope for I suspect.
