Just a follow up to my earlier question. Thanks for the reply Shane. Great help. I want to get Petrol over Diesel and was wondering what size engine would be needed. My bro has a 2018 Skoda Fabia 1.0l while my uncle has a 2017 Kia Ceed 1.0l Ecoboost which are supposed to be quite powerful. The Scala look very nice but too expensive for me. I would be looking for nothing more than €12,000. I've seen a 2016 Fabia 1.2l 90BHP for €11,750 for example. I've seen a few Fiestas and Kia Ceeds for decent money as well. Thanks
Hi Sylvester,
That 1.2-litre engine in the Fabia is a sweet motor. It’s a four-cylinder TSI unit and, until the three-cylinder 1.0-litre came along, it was the Volkswagen Group’s preferred small turbo petrol engine. At 90hp, it’s at the lower spec (it was also offered with 110hp), but it’s still a great engine.
