The Sandero represents excellent budget motoring. We’re guessing that, at that price, it’s a lower-spec car, like an Alternative, so it won’t have many toys, but the 1.5-litre dCi is a Renault-Nissan-sourced engine and – for someone doing in excess of 30,000km per annum – a diesel is entirely the right way to go. Give it a test drive and if you like the way it drives, go for it; you won’t get anything newer or lower mileage for the same money.
