Thoughts on the Volvo XC90?
Hi I've a 16,15,5 year old and another on the way.??. I currently have a Volvo S80 but will have to change for the new baby.I don't like 7 seater mpvs as the rear seats are too close to the back and I'm consious of this if we had a tip.I saw a 2010XC 90 and it had 2 child seats in the back,2 in the middle and a 15yr old at the window seat and 2 parents. I asked them what did they think.They said great space safety and reliabilty. Would u agree.I'm thinking 2010/2011 Anything else to consider

Hi Justin,
The XC90 is definitely a good choice. They’re reliable (and very safe as you point out) and as long as you buy one that’s been properly serviced, and continue to look after it, it should do well for a while yet. They can be expensive to run though so it’s worth looking also at the likes of the Ford Galaxy and SEAT Alhambra, and van-based MPVs such as the VW Caravelle and Citroen SpaceTourer if you want something with the maximum combo of seats and space.
