A 2015 Maserati Quattroporte 3l diesel with very low mileage and in great condition has caught my eye, something different kind of car…. My concerns are the general running and maintenance costs and reliability…. Or am I mad ….. I would appreciate your professional opinions on this car or should I stick with my Mercedes’??
Hi John,
It's understandable - it's a cracking looking car that's not the normal executive model, and that 3.0-litre diesel is a good one, too. It will have already had a major loss in its resale value as well.
There are mixed reports on the dependability of the Quattroporte, though. Some owners say it's a disaster and some have no issues at all. If there's a detailed receipt book for that car, and it shows nothing other than regular servicing, it could be absolutely fine. It's a bit of a risk, but to be honest, so is any car of that age in reality.
