Thoughts on my Vauxhall's recall?
my vauxhall combo has safety recall for wear on a cam chain and was told it may just need a oil pressure update and an additive in the oil . is this suitable or should it be replaced

The dealer should know better than you or me. Recalls usually come with strict guidance for the dealer, and they get paid for all work by the car maker, so it's not like they'd be trying to get out of doing work.
