Well, this must be a first-generation Hyundai i20 (2008-2014), because the current model only has a 1.4-litre diesel engine, not a petrol of that size (the petrols are 1.0- or 1.2-litre units). Therefore, the car you’re looking at is a worthy, dependable and affordable vehicle, if not the most well-finished or exciting thing to drive in the world. If the price is right, there’s no reason to avoid it, if it’s what you really want.
