Thoughts on an older S-Class?
I’m driving a 2018 Mercedes E Class Saloon diesel and I’m thinking now about trading up a few years but a 2017 S Class diesel has caught my eye, low mileage with all the bells and whistles and within my budget, a beautiful car but am I mad ….. I would love to know the pros and cons on this car ……

Hi John,
Only you can make that decision really. The 2017 S-Class is a really good car. It is likely to cost more to maintain and insure than a newer model, and it may not be as efficient either, depending on what the newer alternative you are considering is. The S-Class is unlikley to hold its value as well as an E-Class, either.
