Thoughts on a new Arteon?
Hi Shane Would a new vw arteon shooting brake petrol automatic be a good buy, and would it hold it's value as well as its competitors? It seems to be similar money to an A4 avant, and with a lot more space, but I don't see many around. Is there anything else you'd recommend in the line of petrol cars with a decent boot for max 45k? The passat and superb estates are too boring. A6 seems to only come in diesel. Thank you.

Hi John,
The new Arteon Shooting Brake would be a great option - interesting, huge inside and, assuming Volkswagen hasn't drastically altered the chassis in the revamp, lovely and comfortable, too. You've not seen many around because it has only just arrived in the country.
I'm stumped to think of another option for you based on what you've said. The Peugeot 508 SW is gorgeous and can be had with a petrol engine, but isn't as big inside at all as the Arteon.
