Thoughts on a BMW for a taxi?
Would a 2018 BMW 520E with 70k km be a decent choice as a taxi? Would it do the high mileage without giving too much expense/problems?

Presumably you mean a 520d? It's quite robust, but a diesel engine isn't very well-suited to life in and around an urban environment in stop-start traffic, so it depends on where most of your driving is, really. A petrol or hybrid is likely to be cheaper to run when you take maintenance into consideration.
