Thoughts on a 2012 Passat...
I am thinking of upgrading to a 2012 VW Passat 1.6 TDI So firstly are they capable of relatively high mileage as in would 200,000 km be very high for such car? Secondly, Does this model come with aTiming Chain driven engine and if so what is the correct interval time/Kms for it to be changed/serviced? TIA

That engine is good for high mileage once it is properly maintained.
It has a timing belt that must be changed every 210,000km regardless of time.
