Thoughts on 07-09 Corsa?
Im 19 looking to get my first car. Iv been looking at Opel Corsa and astras in the 07-09 range. What issues should I be looking out for in viewings? Thanks

Hi Aaron,
The smaller petrol engines can have weak cambelts, so check they’ve been changed – it’ll be small engines you’ll be looking at, because they’ll be the only ones you can insure. Suspension top mounts can be an issue, but they’re not much to replace and they last better once replaced (as the parts were improved), while rear brake callipers can seize due to troublesome handbrake linkages.
