This Vectra's belt has never been changed!
Hi, I am thinking of buying a 2008 Opel Vectra, great condition but timing belt has never been changed despite 200,000km mileage! Is that a total negative or does it not matter the belt has not been changed and car seems to run fine atm. I will of course change it, should I buy it. Thank

That's a very long time overdue! And if it really has never been changed, and it gets done right away with no issues, theoretically all could be fine. However, I'd really worry about how well the rest of the car was been maintained if this is the case. Personally, I'd stay away from it.
