Thinking of upgrading to a 5 Series.
Hi I am thinking to move from a 2009 BMW 3 series to a 2013 520d spending beetween 19 to 25 thousand.. am I making a good decision or should I look other brands out there that would offer me more in the same segment.. (e class- A6 etc)

Hi Raffaele,
The F10 5 Series is an excellent car and represents a significant upgrade over the 3 Series in terms of space, comfort and refinement, so you’re onto a winner right enough. Just make sure it comes with a full service history, and it’s worth buying from a BMW dealer as their two-year used car warranty is excellent. It is worth having a look at a Mercedes E-Class (a little roomier, more comfortable ride) and an Audi A6 (nicer interior, optional four-wheel drive) too, but they’re not really better than a 5 Series, just different.
