We need to know the spec and engine, really, but at a rough guess the Mazda3 should be worth between €14,000 and €15,000. On a trade-in, you’ll get more like €11,000-€12,500 for it, so that’s what you need to consider – you’ll receive more money for the Mazda3 if you sell it privately but it might take longer and be more hassle. A trade-in reduces the money in your pocket, but it’s quick and easy and fits well if you’re buying another car to replace the Mazda.
