Hi Shane, I'm thinking of importing a 2011 Audi A6 S line Tdi Cvt , automatic ,Co2 133 from the UK, 130000 on the clock and a good service history , would this fall into 280€ tax yearly bracket and would you recommend this car and what are they generally worth, Regards Micheal
Hi John,
I’d unhesitatingly recommend it – the A6 is a terrific car and the 2.0-litre TDI engine is pretty much unburstable. Yup, it’ll be €280 a year to tax it with 133g/km CO2 emissions, which isn’t too harsh considering the size and performance. One thing though – you say it has a ‘good service history’, which is nice, but if it’s in any way incomplete or missing any stamps, I’d be very, very cautious. Although reliable, the A6 is a complex car and gaps in the history can spell disaster. Be picky – there are lots of them around.
