Thinking of buying a Subaru Outback.
Hi, looking at possibly buying a 181 Subaru Outback. Since its a cross between a estate and SUV what would the Outbacks rivals be? I'm aware I'll be paying €46,000 €52,00 0 but the safety and spec on them is huge. Thanks

Yes, the Outback is pretty pricey, but it’s also a car we have a rather large soft spot for, and you can pretty much guarantee it will never break, so that’s always good. There aren’t many direct rivals, really. The Volvo V90 Cross Country has similar capabilities, but is much more expensive; ditto the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain. A Skoda Octavia Scout or SEA Leon Xperience are pretty close in terms of capability and a lot cheaper, but possibly don’t quite have the cachet of the Outback.
