Thinking of buying a petrol Captur.
I'm a 60 year female. Have driven all my life. Thinking of buying a Renault captur the petrol version. While I do very very little mileage I do take odd trip to wexford . I live in castleknock. Am concerned of dragging the car to wexford. Currently drive 2011 Honda civic . It has 25000 k. I've had it since new. My concern is the captur would not have enough power for this odd trip to wexford.

The Captur petrol uses a 990cc three-cylinder petrol engine, so I can understand your concern about it being underpowered on the motorway, but you needn't worry - it's turbocharged so is really more comparable to a 1.4- or even 1.6-litre engine. It'll be fine on the motorway.
