Thinking of buying a high-mileage Corolla.

Thinking of buying a high-mileage Corolla.

Thinking of buying a corrola 300/340000 klms on the teller......good or bad choice?

Our answer:

Hi Adrian,

We’ve said this before and we’ll say it again about high-mileage cars: as long as they’ve got a solid history, full record of maintenance and there’s nothing obviously ‘over-worn’ about their appearance, then there’s no reason to avoid these mega-milers as they offer cheap motoring. And, if any leggy motor is going to be reliable for its age and condition, it’s going to be the bombproof Toyota Corolla. Therefore, if you like the car you’re looking at and you are happy it has been looked after, buying it for the right price is a good decision.
