Would we buy one? No. Not because it’s a bad car (far from it actually), but just because it’s a bit dull. They are very reliable and spacious though, so if all you need is something practical and painless, then go right ahead. The end of production won’t have much of an effect on values, mostly because so few people realised it was in production at all - the reason Nissan has pulled the plug is disappointing sales. In summary, nothing at all wrong with the Pulsar, but there are loads of more interesting cars available at the same price.
