Generally speaking, yes. The Focus always does well on the German TUV reliability index, and while there aren’t enough of the Powershift models knocking around for us to get a specific handle on gearbox issues, it’s built for Ford by transmissions expert Getrag, so it’s unlikely to have any major problems.
