Thinking of buying a 2011 Fabia...
I'm thinking of buying a Skoda Fabia HTP 2011 Petrol 1.2 with 122,000 km on the clock. Does this model have a timing chain or belt and when should either be changed. The asking price is 3500 euros but the car appears to have full service history and looks clean.

That engine has a chain, which doesn't have a set replacement schedule. However, they are known to get noisy and need replacing in that car, so I'd recommend you get a good mechanic to have a listen to it before you agree to buy the car. Replacing the chain is expensive.
