Difficult to say – the Freelander 2 is not known for being the most reliable of vehicles, but by the same token a figure of 148,000km on an 11-year-old Land Rover is relatively low, so it sounds like one that has been looked after. Electrical woes are the most commonly reported problems with Land Rovers of that era, so watch out for warning lights on the dash, electrical features that don’t function properly (windows, central locking, sunroof, lights etc) and various other maladies.
