Taxes on importing a classic from the North?
Do I have to pay VAT/duty on a vintage or classic car from Northern Ireland? (Assuming it was first sold and registered there)

In the situation you've described, where the car has spent its entire life in the North, you should not be liable for any VAT or import duty, just the flat rate of VRT.
