We’re guessing this is a very late Mk2, as the Mk3 didn’t have any 1.6-litre engines. You don’t say if it’s a petrol or diesel, so we’ll do both – the 1.6-litre petrol emitted 149g/km of CO2, placing it in Band C (€390 per year), while the diesel only put out 119g/km, resulting in a Band A4 classification and a bill of €200 per annum.
